Alterations

The only alteration from the original design is in the tulle on the back of the dress, both near the neckline and the hip area, which has been embroidered, as it originally had no lace

The sleeves were originally clipped in with small buttons which were very uncomfortable and so they were sewn in place to prevent them from slipping out of the original buttons, with a single, easily removable stitch (it can be worn both with or without sleeves)
