About the Dress

This Blush, sparkling, exquisite gown was the dress of my dreams! From the moment I walked into the shop & saw it waiting for me to try it on, I knew this was the one. I tried on 7 gowns but nothing gave me same feeling as this one.

As a plus size bride I was absolutely terrified I'd look hideous in everything I tried on but, this gown made me feel invincible!!

The elegant A-line silhouette drapes beautifully over your curves and it was so comfortable to wear. I wore a hoop underneath as I found it much easier to walk in and I'm happy to include this if you too find it beneficial.

It has a zip back which does not dig in at all and, even with a chubby back, it framed my shape beautifully and there was no spillage! I also had a new bra (42d) sewn in for extra support but this can easily be removed.

I poured love and joy into wearing this dress, and I hope it can bring the same happiness to you on your fabulous day. It's waiting for another beautiful bride to continue its journey!

My wedding was 29th February 2024 & the dress has been dry cleaned. It is in immaculate condition with no marks or damage. I forgot to wear perfume on the day so there's no strong smells.

I am based in South Wales, CF31 2ES & can provide a double bedroom with a full length mirror for you to try this dress on.

I'm looking for around £500 but honestly, if you love her, make me an offer as she's too beautiful to sit alone in storage.

Alterations

- Long sleeves removed and turned into butterfly cap sleeves whilst keeping all of the original lace
- Plunge neckline on the bust area closed slightly for more modesty, again keeping the same lace
- Dress shortened - I'm 5'4 and wore 3" heels
- Bustle added to help keep the dress up for dancing
