The Dress

The dress is ruched through the bodice and the fabric has a lot of stretch to it so it's extremely comfortable (ie you don't have to suck in all day on your wedding day).

It's simple yet dramatic with the bow and has the most beautiful train. I also had a fabulous chapel veil with blusher that I am selling with the dress. I'm happy to send you pictures of me in it on my wedding day so you can get a better sense for the dress on a real person (I am far from a runway model)!

I ended up buying the dress at Saks Jandel in Chevy Chase, MD because it was closer to home and easier for alterations. Their wedding suite was absolutely remarkable and hands down the most professional boutique I encountered through my multi-city search.

I should also mention that the dress is in mint condition. I got married in South Carolina at a Country Club with an evening ceremony on the lawn and the reception indoors. I didn't even put the dress on until 5 minutes before walking down the aisle and changed before leaving the reception. All in all, I think I only wore it for 6 hours! And in those 6 hours I took immaculate care of it!!!

Dress is custom fitted with Le Mystere 34D bustier. Final alterations 35.5" bust, 27" waist and 35" hip.
