The Dress

This dress is the Anna Campbell Isobelle dress in Ivory (comes in two colours - Ivory or Bone - and this is the whiter of the two colours).

The size is XXS, and this is the smallest size it comes in. I am usually a 6-8 in Australian sizes, but the beauty of this dress is that because it is tie up, you can give or take quite a bit of space in the waist.

The dress ties up at the back into a bow, and I can send a PDF which shows step by step instructions of how the dress should be tied.

I wore a strapless bra just to give me a bit of shape in the chest, but there are cups sewn in so you do not need a bra if you don't want to.

The dress also has a bustle, so that once the ceremony is over, you can attach the train of the dress to the tiny invisible button so that you don't step on it or get it too dirty.

Alterations cost me $500, and to have it dry-cleaned and boxed was $500. It is in perfect condition and does not have one tear or mark on it. Copy of the dry-cleaning receipt can be provided.

When you order this dress brand new, it requires alterations as the 'bib' (the lace section on the chest and back) is not sewn to the dress. This is so that it can be sewn to fit you (i.e. to fit bust, and not have any bagginess to the lace, which is very delicate)

The scalloped edge of the bottom of the dress also comes detached in a silk bag. This is so that when the dress is taken up, they can then sew the scalloped edge on, rather than it being cut off to take the dress up, and you lose the gorgeous edging.
Both of these alterations have been done (cost was $500) so it is ready to wear.

Dress is now at a length to suit my height (165cm) plus 4cm heels - total height on the day was 169cm. My measurements were Bust 76cm, Waist 65cm, Hips 81cm. It is worth noting that due to this dress being tie up, you could easily measure within 10cm range of each of these and the dress would still fit perfectly - just tie it looser or tighter as required.
