The Dress

This is a unique and beautiful gown made by New Zealand designer, Rue De Seine. "The dress is 100% hand made Cotton Battenburg lace gown with a 100% Silk Crepe bias cut nude slip. The silhouette is form fitting through the bust and waist with an 'A' Line skirt. The Violet Gown has a scoop neck, V Back and floral scalloped capped sleeves with a subtle train."

This dress is extremely flattering and easy to wear. It was perfect for our outdoor wedding. I could dance and EAT to my hearts content and still feel slim and stunning. I still get comments on how unique and beautiful it was (especially those sleeves!)

I am 5'10" tall, 150 lbs and wore a 1.5" heel. I had it taken in SLIGHTLY around the waist and added a belt that sewn onto the dress. If you're shorter than me, you can see by the design it is very easy to alter. Also, the lace is somewhat stretchy, so you'll have give there. It has a small button to bustle it up in the back.

The dress was worn once in March 2015, and was dry cleaned immediately after the wedding by a fine clothing dry cleaner. There are no stains- it is in excellent condition.
