I bought this brand new Chosen by KYHA Lucia gown from Bisou Bridal in Vancouver for my August 2024 wedding and only lightly wore it once. I had the dress custom made with split sizing for a size 1 bust / size 2 waist / size 2 hips.

I'm around 5'4'', and wore 4 inch heels with the dress.

This dress is structured in all the right places with full internal corseting for full support, yet it drapes effortlessly and is extremely comfortable to dance, sit, bend, eat and drink, sing and jam out on an instrument.

It was an absolute dream to wear this modern yet timeless dress for the entire day and night of my wedding. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is in pristine condition, hanging in a double-bag waiting for a new home! If you are also looking for a veil, I still have the tulle veil which is handmade with ivory flowers and pearls, and I thought it was the perfect accessory to pair with the simplicity of the gown. Alterations

  • The only alterations were 1
  • shortening the length to suit my height with heels, and 2
  • adding a gorgeous French bustle with 6 white ribbons underneath the gown
  • The corresponding top and bottom skinny ribbons line up and simply get tied together into a bow x3 to create the under-bustle (I have a video of Bisou Bridal's atelier demonstrating tying the ribbons, if needed)
  • The ribbons are robust and the bustle stayed perfectly tied all evening/night post-ceremony
