The design:
I loved this dress as soon as I tried it on! have an hourglass body shape and I found that this dress really accentuated this without being figure-hugging. The underlayer is tighter-fitting so allows for your figure to still be seen, but then this is softened by the tulle overlay. I was also obsessed with the floral embroidery that is both on the underlay and overlay. I found the dress to be classic, but with some slightly unique details that made it just a little bit different to most other dresses.

Sizing:
I usually wear a size 12 and this is a size 14 (refer to my dimensions). I tried both the size 12 and size 14 in store, and while both fit, the size 12 was just a little tighter around my hips than I wanted (I wanted the dress to be a little bit loose so I could still move comfortably). So I opted for the size 14 and then had it altered to slightly bring in the waist.

I usually wear a 12C bra, and I did find the bust to be slightly too big for me but I don't think it shows (it couldn't be brought in due to the structure of the design). The dress does come with additional padding that can be sewed into the bust if needed.

Colouring:
The colour is "Almond/champagne/ivory". In certain lighting, admittedly the dress can look more champagne, but per the photo's, in natural lighting it looks true-to-colour of off-white.

Alterations:
The following alterations have been done:
- Hemmed for my height
- Waist brought in
- Shoulder straps shortened
- Bustle added

Condition:
I wore the dress for about 3 hours for an elopement ceremony. It has been dry cleaned.
