The Dress

this dress is a dream! I had fallen in love with a similar gown - the Penelope also by Watters/BHLDN - but when I went to try it on I just kept finding myself wishing it had sleeves. When I found the Beau I realized that it was exactly what I wanted. the same lace and tulle but with the perfect sleeves and dramatic back that had me sold. I felt beautiful and THIN in the dress!

It was the perfect dress for me because it showed off a little of my cleavage, but it also had the sleeves which to me felt like they balanced the silhouette. They also kept the dress up which was nice, I didn't have to fidget with it all day! The sleeves have the added bonus of covering up that one weird area of arm fat around the armpits that I kept noticing when I tried on strapless gowns. It was super flattering on my hourglass shape and I hope that it's able to make someone feel as beautiful as I did!

The dress retailed for the duration of its sale on BHLDN at $2,000 and was worth every penny! The quality is amazing.

I had this dress professionally altered only slightly. I had the zipper in the back shortened a tiny bit since it was buckling, and had the seamstress add two bust cups (there are some existing but are thin), so that I did not have to wear a bra. These are 100% removeable if you dont need the extra lining. (I'm a 34DD so it helped me feel secure in there!)
