The Dress

I absolutely loved my wedding dress and hope that someone else can wear it on their special day and love it as much as I did! My dress was custom made and I purchased it for $6,400 at Mariana Hardwick. I wore it in February 2016.

The gown has a moulded bodice that is encrusted with antique silver and pearl beading. It is a stunning latte colour and the skirt is A-line and is made from pure silk and tulle. The dress is so stunning on its own that the only jewellery I wore was a pair of small earrings. The beautiful flowing train bustles up very easily.

I have had my dress professionally cleaned at a cost of $495 by CV Gown Cleaning & Preservation, who specialise in wedding dress cleaning and preservation. It has a few tiny holes in the very bottom of the tulle that are barely noticeable. I am 174cm tall and wore the dress with heels, so if you needed the dress taken up at all there shouldn’t be any holes.
