Mariana Hardwick Made to Measure 'Victoria' Gown

I wore this gown to my wedding in April 2016, and could never have imagined a more delicate, timeless and elegant wedding dress.

The dress comes in two pieces:

The 'Jayde' slip - A line, strapless sweetheart neck line, ivory ponte slip
&
The 'Vicoria' dress - Victorian lace and Ellie tulle, A line, ivory dress which is worn over the top (see pic of dress hanging)

The 'Jayde' slip:
The 'Jayde' slip has boning throughout the bust and closes with a zipper at the back. It is strapless, with a sweetheart neckline.
The slip has a train which can be bustled up, and still looks elegant from the back. It was very comfortable to wear as it has a slight stretch to it, and a bra is not needed. I usually wear a size 10 top, size 12 bottom & 12C bra size.

The 'Victoria' lace dress:
The 'Victoria' lace dress is truly exquisite. It is made with the finest and most delicate lace (Victorian lace) and the tulle (Ellie tulle) is incredibly soft and free flowing. The dress has a halter style neckline at the front, with a beautifully designed piece of lace centred on the chest. Two pieces of lace curve down the back of the dress, revealing an open back. There are four buttons which run down the back of the dress, which cinch in the waist. Around the waist is a fragile lace peplum, it's quite short at the front, and longer at the back. The skirt of the dress has two fine layers - the first layer is lace (the same as the bodice) and the second layer (which is over the top) is soft tulle. If you look closely at the 7th & 8th pictures you can see both of the delicate layers. The dress has a train (the tulle layer) which can be bustled up and still looks beautiful.

I will include both of my veils (face veil and long chapel veil) which are also Mariana Hardwick and cost $295.

I am 160cm tall and wore 10cm heels on the day.

I love this dress so much and will be sad to let it go, however it so deserves to be worn again!
