I wore this to my rehearsal dinner and everyone said it was the prettiest dress they had ever seen. There are some very faint stains on the bottom of the skirt and under the chest band that the dry cleaner couldn't get out; however, it's in seemingly perfect condition when it's on because of the pleating. No alterations were made.

Compared to the Lioness dupe: The fit and material looks completely different. In terms of material, the Khaite dress feels and looks like a high quality knit material. It has a floaty plissé skirt that glides beautifully and was made to hold its ribbed shape overtime (vs the Lioness dress is like a casual stretch jersey that feels like it would lose all the ribbing after a few washes). Regarding fit, the top of the Khaite dress has an extremely flattering waist that sucks you in (vs the top of the Lioness dress only has a few loose folds so doesn’t hide anything and it doesn’t allow you to pull the waist up/down if you’re shorter or taller). From the back, the Khaite dress makes your butt look amazing (vs the Lioness dress does nothing for it).

This dress is sheer so you may want to wear shape wear under it. I wore nude-colored Skims Everyday Sculpt Mid Thigh Shorts and it worked perfectly / looked totally appropriate (see video).
