I really loved wearing this dress and got lots of compliments! It is completely unaltered - I am tall (5'11") and took none of the length off (though in hindsight I would have taken an inch or two off!) Note - the lining underneath is more ivory/off-white than white, which I personally think looks better than the pure white!

I am also typically a UK size 8, but I found this style of dress fit perfectly fine without alterations. The style works well a bit looser while still being flattering - though again in hindsight it might have been good to take a few inches in (we had food poisoning just a couple days before the wedding which did cause me to lose some weight unexpectedly!)

As with any beaded dress, they do tend to shed! There are a few places where the beading has come a bit loose, but I personally don't think these are noticeable (I only wore the dress for about 5 hours and we didn't have dancing etc.).

Please also note there is a tiny plastic snap button fastener in the middle of the back of the dress - this has come off, but I would expect this to be an easy fix! The photos on the hanger are post-wedding, post dry cleaning for reference. Extra beads and fabric that came with the dress will be sent across.
