About the Dress

This Carrie dress is ready for her next magical day – a soft and romantic tulle A-line/princess gown with lace detail (discontinued, but a timeless classic, worn once and wrapped ready to go).

This gorgeous dress by Essense of Australia transformed my wedding day into a dreamy fairytale. As soon as I slipped into this flowing Muscato ballgown, I felt an overwhelming sense of elegance and joy. It’s a size 18, but I was originally a 16, Bra size 16DD; and I had it altered to fit someone who’s about 170cm (wearing 2cm runners).

This stunning piece features a sheer bone bodice, a lovely tulle A-line skirt, and gorgeous beading along the V-neckline and straps. Plus, it has a train and a hook closure to add that extra flair! I did think to keep it for me daughter but changed my mind (she is going to be waaaaay taller than me).

Originally, it was priced at $2500 (with some additional costs for alterations), but I’m definitely open to offers! It’s been dry cleaned and is all set for its next adventure. A Tuscany dress and its all wrapped up ready to go!
