The Dress

If you love the wedding dresses of Grace Kelly, Kate Middleton or Nicky Hilton, then this dress is for you. My Gorgeous Vintage (1957) Wedding Dress is White Chantilly Lace over Blush/ Pink Japanese Silk Faille designed by Japanese designer (Paris trained courterier) Tami Tozawa for my wedding in Tokyo, Japan. Every detail of this handmade dress is reminiscent of Dior Haute Couture with its full, ballroom style lace skirt over silk which forms a petal overlay at hips, and falls to a long train. The fitted bodice is stylish and flattering for a narrow waist, intricate, elegant details include lace-covered buttons on sleeves and down the back. If you are a more modern bride, you may wish to remove the sleeves for a luxurious strapless bodice (exactly as shown in the New York Times' Wedding article (also photos) of April 22, 2016 edition. (Satin Pillbox Hat embroidered with Japanese seed pearls and veil, designed and handmade by a Parisian hat maker living in Tokyo is included if you want it.)

Waist: 21 inches; Bust 32 inches; Sleeves Shouldto to wrist 23 inches covered buttons at point
Shoulder to dipped waist: 26 inches; Length: front skirt wait to floor 44 inches;
Train: Back waist petals spread out to floor 58 inches
Length around botom of skirt: more than 180 inches (ballroom style)

Vintage. Like New. Newly cleaned after being stored in acid free paper and museum box in smoke-free/fur-free storage closet. No sign of wear. White is very white and pale pink is very Blush.
