The Dress

I bought the dress at a boutique in Los Angeles and fell in love with it the second I saw it. My husband and I got married in Alaska for our destination wedding and I thought the specks of white and hint of shimmer on the dress would help it stand out from the snowy background (and it did!). I love the back of the dress, which is sheer with applique, so it covers more than a backless dress, but is flirtatious. I wore this dress at the ceremony with the small train out and at the reception in an English bustle.

The dress was cleaned via the Wedding Gown Preservation Company immediately after the wedding and has since been stored in the box they provided (as pictured).

The dress is still a perfect street size 2. No alterations were made regarding the width or length of the sleeves, only the bottom was altered to be the appropriate length and to have an English bustle. I am 5'1" and I wore 6" heels. The dress did get stepped on during the reception causing a small tear which has been repaired (as pictured).
