It was love at first sight. Not my husband - this dress!
The dress is a UK/AU 6 but the sizing is generous so it was further altered at the waistline. I'm typically a size 6-8 in regular clothing. The dress has a beautiful mermaid silhouette that can be bustled up. Its high illusion neckline and glitter layered tulle skirt sparkle in the light and show up so beautifully in photographs. It is finished with soft lace applique throughout.
Since that perfect day, the dress has been professionally dry-cleaned and boxed up, ready for the next princess.
Hemline has been reduced to suit my 160cm frame and 11cm heels. The back of the dress was also lowered for a more plunging-back look.
