The Dress

So sad I did not get to wear this sophisticated gown! Originally $4,000.00, this was a floor sample at a boutique and I purchased at a great discount, $1,217.00. Recently bought from Bella Rosa Spring 2016 closing in Richmond, Va. I had high hopes to get this altered down to my size, but it turns out that it is costly to take every seam apart to make this fit me (I'm a street size 2).

This is AN IDEAL FIT if you are a STREET SIZE 8 or 6! The double layer crepe skirt also makes this suitable for fall or winter events and the cotton lace fabric is not itchy. Nude bra structure exists inside the top. There is plenty of mobility in the crepe skirt to make dancing, moving around, or even sitting down quite comfortable. The back zipper is hidden, and has real buttons to conceal zipper (as opposed to buttons that don't really close). Sleeves at wrist also have the lovely button detail. The designer photos show this dress to look more revealing in the bust than I found it to be and I am a C-cup, 34" bust. Not only is the "Delaney" uber-classy, but it is just the right amount of sexy for a wedding, despite the fact that not much skin is showing.

I am 5ft 6in (was wearing heels in the photos) and no length has been taken off and no alterations have been made. There is a small place on the back center seam where a stitch came loose and needs to be sewn up, but will leave that to the purchaser's choice of seamstress.
