The Dress

This ivory/cream dress is simple, elegant, timeless.
Designed exclusively for Anthropologies' BHLDN, the "Georgia" for the 2016 collection.
It was the one I stood in front of a mirror for what felt like forever; musing over its flow, the fit, the wonder of how I would look on that day.
To grasp the wispy outsides and twirl side to side-- nothing too flashy but just enough to feel...womanly and giddy.
It's the dress that, for some odd reason but so many women share, made me cry.
I could have stayed in that dress all day. It's long and flowy without any heaviness. To this day, almost 8 years later I still smile.

Features an illusion neckline, lace flower applique, tulle overlay, with sequins throughout. 100% polyester with a chiffon lining. Zips up in back.

It's a size 4 label and I usually wore size 2 at the time in general clothing.

I've included some current photos of the dress in the light as I never had any photos taken outside.

There is some minor wear on the lining at the edge where I walked. Will update with picture once it's back from dry cleaning. There is a small brown stain that blended in with the beading-- I am hoping it comes out with dry cleaning but will update price once everything is back.

Original sale was $1,000 and I bought a sash for $270 which is included in the retail price and reflected in my asking price.

The sash does not have the tag anymore but I bought it the same day at BHLDN. It has white and silver beading, some lace and sequins with a pink silk tie.

Alterations

Fitted just at floor length to match shoes. I'm 5'4".
