The Dress

This is a Pnina Tornai dress (style 4815) purchased directly from Kleinfeld in NYC. The retail value of this dress is $10K+tax and I paid another $1200 in alterations. Kleinfled told me that if you were to order the dress this year, it would cost between $13K-14K.

This is a gorgeous long sleeve a-line wedding dress with intricate lace and embroidery details. The top has a nude illusion that makes it look like an off-the-shoulder dress, but in fact buttons at the back of the neck.

There is a corset back which makes it easy to open and close and is flexible for sizing as well.

I wore this dress to my wedding, which was outdoors in grass, so the skirt needs to be cleaned. The price of this dress does not include a dry clean, but I can get the dress dry cleaned prior to sending it for an additional fee.

Alterations

The main visible alteration (which is reversible) was to remove the nude bandeau bra and replace it with less obtrusive nude cups. I still have the bandeau bra that I can provide along with the dress if you want to sew it back in.

The other alterations done to this dress include:
- shortening the skirt and sleeves
- replacing the corset string tie with a mesh white ribbon
- adding a lining to the skirt so that the skirt isn't as see through
