The Dress

This stunning Watters gown, with its hand-placed lace and subtle beads, helped create the romantic, vintage wedding that I had always dreamt of. The English net and lace fit and flare gown was a dream to wear. The delicately embellished detail on the sleeves and bodice is flattering without being distracting and looks incredible in photos. The hand-placed lace motifs cascade down the silhouette and accentuate a beautiful scalloped hem. The lining of the dress is rose gold, complimented by nude illusion tulle. This colour contrasts beautifully with the ivory, hand-placed beaded lace motifs to create a timeless, romantic gown. The gown features a sleeveless neckline and chapel train. It is floor length and an absolute dream to dance in. 



Alterations to the gown included taking the back neckline from the original keyhole design to a beautifully sculpted, plunging back neckline. The edge of the back neckline is sheer with ornate, hand-placed lace. Alteration costs were $400 in total.

The gown was worn only on my wedding day and remains in great condition. The size fits AU 6 to 8. Comes with Watters dress bag.

Purchased along with my wedding gown, the veil matched seamlessly. The veil was simple, yet the perfect length to fall gracefully over the plunging back neckline of the gown. The veil fell delicately over the gown, creating an elegant vintage look. The veil was purchased for $320. Length – ’66 single-tier. Colour – soft tulle ivory. Edge – raw.
