The Dress
Gorgeous and unique Carolina Herrera! I wanted something that was simple but special with clean lines and beautiful fabric while still being unique and this fit the bill (I’ve still never seen anyone else with it!). I highly recommend watching the video because what truly makes this dress special is the crepe fabric. It’s beautiful in person with really fantastic movement. It’s also lined completely in silk, which made it incredibly comfortable to wear all night.
Alterations
The dress was fitted to my measurements and cups were sewn into the bust (which I’m sure can be removed if wanted). I’m 5’2.5” and wore Leoffler Randall Dahlia heels (2 inches) so that’s the length. A The back has a short train (which can be seen in the last couple of pictures). Finally the dress has an under bustle so it can be bustled without changing the fit of the dress.
I have the extra fabric from alterations that I can send with the dress.
