The Dress

Bought as a size 14 before alterations, see notes. I believe the tag said Ivory but to me it looks white. The detail on this dress and the train is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Sparkly floral sheath wedding gown with a dramatic double train.

Fit and Flare style hugs you in all the right places, if you are smaller size than me this can easily be taken in more to hug you. I do have hips! I am an 8 in street size, 12 in wedding dress size. I weigh 150 lbs.

No stains so I would say used excellent condition, there was some minor dirt on bottom of the train from our outdoor elopement which came out. I found one spot on the trim (very bottom) that is the only minor flaw I could find. Dry cleaned and back to perfect. If you spot that I don't want you to feel misled. I'd be happy to send a picture of the flaw I found.

Was very comfortable, as you can see we had an adventure elopement and I have no problem moving about nor was it heavy or hot being outside, I was surprised considering the layers underneath. It is a lace and tulle combination. I felt from the moment I tried it on to the moment I put it on the day of like the most beautiful woman on earth, especially when I got these pictures!

Hoping someone can reuse this gorgeous designer dress as I can't see it being just shoved away in my closet although my heart would love to keep it forever. After purchase, alterations, and being dry cleaned this is a deal! I am aware that alterations depreciate value, but I think this price is fair.

Alterations

Before you buy please know this dress was altered slightly, mainly hemmed. I stand at 5'5" with the white boots I wore underneath, which maybe added 1/2 inch to an 1 inch of height to me. Most of the alteration was hemming because there are a handful of layers and it was too long for me. The other alterations were focused to bring in on the waist to make it a size 12 and some take in around mid-thigh. They also took just a tiny bit off the straps to make it look better on my body.

Bought as a size 14, taken in some. 10 fit me but was a little snug, 14 was too big....

There are also built in push up cups, I run 36B, which could be changed. I did not add a bustle, but there is a wristlet sewed in the inside to help with the long beautiful train!
