The Dress
Wore this dress for my wedding in Oct 2022. Dress is by Enzoani, style name Octavia. It is a beautiful gown and had everything I was looking for -- lace on the bodice, 3D flowers, sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder straps and long tulle train. Please note the following:
- There are 2 minor rips in the tulle. You can have this repaired by a bridal shop/seamstress.
- The piece of string that holds one of the off-the-shoulder strap will need to be sewn back, as it loosened.
- Straps can be removed entirely.
Alterations
1. I ordered a size 0 as well as additional lace appliqué directly from Enzoani. As I have larger breasts than usual for my size, the seamstress at the bridal boutique used the additional lace to make the upper area larger to fit my chest. This is not noticeable, since it is all exactly the same lace as the rest of the dress. You can have the additional lace appliqué removed by a seamstress if needed.
2. The original dress style has horsehair trim at the bottom of the tulle train. I asked Enzoani to exclude this, as I felt it made the dress look heavier. This was not an alteration made to the dress, as it was delivered that way from directly the designer. I have included images of both the original train and my train for reference.
