The Dress

Anthropologie BHLDN x Nouvelle Amsale collaboration. This dress is really two dresses in one! As you can see from the pictures, the dress itself is a column style satin dress with a small puddle length train in the back AND it has a detachable overskirt which converts it into a beautiful ballgown with full train for the ceremony. As you can see from the photos, I wore it BOTH ways on my big day! Where the column dress on its own for understated elegance or pair it with the detachable overskirt for a dramatic finish. Overskirt easily zips on and off. Built in just support so no bra is needed. Alterations

Yes, dress was altered to fit a shorter petite bride. Specifically, the column dress was altered to fit a 32A or 32B bust. Both the column dress and the overskirt were altered to accommodate a heigh of 5”4’ with 3” heels. Would work perfectly for a petite bride!
