I am finally parting with my wedding dress… I hope there is a size 8 bride out there somewhere who loves it. I wore this simple mermaid shaped dress in 2012 for my destination wedding on the beach in 🇯🇲 Jamaica. It was just the 2 of us, and it was the most perfect day ever. I hope it can be the perfect dress for your special day. ❤️
It’s a strapless form fitted organza gown from David’s Bridal. Since it was just the 2 of us, I wanted to find a dress that was simple yet stunning. The simplicity was in the lightweight material (no extra beading, lace or anything like that.) All the glam was in the shape & fit of the dress. The mermaid shape is honestly the wow factor. It fits like a glove. Even though it’s form fitted, I was so comfortable and could move around easily in it.
When we got home, I had it dry cleaned, bought a wedding dress box, wrapped it in tissue and stored it on the top shelf of my closet. The dress is still in perfect condition. It has no alterations. I kept it simple & chose a white sash (which will come with the dress) but you can add any color/ style and it really changes the look.
