The Dress

This is a stunning Monique Lhuillier wedding dress part of the Platinum Collection. Retailed for $13,500 selling for a fraction of the price. The ballgown silhouette is absolutely magnificent, you will feel like a stylish modern day princess and will wow your guests as you walk down the aisle. The dress is so unique and flattering, the corset is structured and fitted, it emphasized the bust and slims the waist with the contrasting full skirt. There is a lot of material for the skirt and a decent (but not overwhelming) train. The style and material of the skirt actually made travelling with it convenient as it did not need to be steamed.

I am usually a street size 4-6. The style of the dress is relatively forgiving (as far as wedding dresses go). My weight fluctuated by 3-4 lbs. due to medications I was on, I was happy that the dress could still fit at my heaviest and lightest! The bust has some flexibility, I have cups sewn in, if you need more bust space you can take them out, or put in thicker pads if you have a smaller chest. The waist also has a little flexibility because it hits at the natural waist and the skirt is full. None of the skirt length was taken out, my guess is the full length of the dress could fit someone 6' with shoes. My brilliant seamstress made a masterpiece how she creatively hemmed it up to my height (I'm 5'-4" and wore 2-3" heels). The dress was worn indoors only, has been professionally cleaned and is in great condition. Note that with even the best professional wedding gown cleaning some of the material that was lightly sewn on may come a little loose (for example at label) and may need a little touch up with your seamstress.
