The Dress
The dress is a breathtaking mermaid gown that comes to life in glittering, three-dimensional flowers that crystalize along the plunging neckline, gather at the waist, and cascade down a skirt delicately dotted with streams of threaded embroidery.
I tried on over 30 dresses before stepping into the AETHRA. The moment I turned around and looked in the mirror I knew this was THE DRESS! It has that old Hollywood glamour feel without overpowering the wearer. It was very comfortable to wear and wore it for the ceremony and reception. I truly loved this dress and bought it even though it was way over my budget; which brings me to why it is listed for sale. If I could keep it forever, I would, but I hope that you love it as much as I did!
Alterations
I had some minor alterations done including having it taken in on the back side of the non-boning section to create darts by removing the lace and applying the lace again. I also added cups to the bust and bustle to clip the train of the dress during the reception. The cups can be removed easily if you don't need extra support.
