This dress is a stunner. It has been worn once and since been dry-cleaned to near-new condition. It is an Ivory strapless striped organza gown with a ruched elongated bodice, flounced tulle and organza skirt with chapel train. The shape is flattering and the striped pattern is a one-of-a-kind.
The dress was sized at 8 US before alterations. A small amount of length was taken off the bottom, the waist and bust was tucked in, and a bustle was added. The original crinoline lining and ribbon trim on the bottom remains in tact. I am 5'2", 118 lbs, 34C, and after alterations the gown fit like a glove. I wore 3 1/2 inch slingbacks with the gown and the train flowed perfectly with that height heel.
If you're the kind of bride who wants something different than what everyone else wears on their wedding day, this is the gown for you. It's a knockout!
