The Dress

Saskia dress from Karen Willis Holmes 2015 bespoke collection - this dress was an absolute dream to wear!

Strapless bustier lace bodice with appliqué lace work on the neckline. Full tulle circle 2 tiered skirt flowing into a train. Ivory. The skirt is my absolute favorite part of this dress, as beautiful as the lace bodice is the asymmetrical cut of the skirt and the splash of color... I fell in love instantly. There's also a loop to pin up the train which falls really beautifully once done!
I added small straps that match the lace on the gown, this can be removed easily by a competent seamstress if you prefer the strapless version. This was a small 8 in my opinion so I had it released at the sides a small amount, there is also enough material on both sides of the bodice to take it out an additional size if required and of course it can be taken in at least a size. I also opted for the buttons on the back which I found much more delicate and feminine.

The dress has not been dry cleaned, happy to do this upon selling it, though I would recommend purchasing it as is and dry cleaning it once you have finished alterations. Happy to reduce the price accordingly.

I am 163 cm and wore 4" heels on the day.

Any questions at all don't hesitate to shout out. I will be very sad to see my beautiful dress go, but I know I'm not an overly sentimental person and will just end up selling it a few years from now if i don't do it now.
