The Dress

I felt very elegant in this dress. It was an excellent fit and was hand made for me by the late Lisa Ramfjord Elstun - LRE Couture & Design. The dress and vail are in excellent condition with no flaws or wear.

Lisa, a couture designer, was very involved in developing the fashion industry in Denver, Colorado. She was the founder of the Fashion Design Center Denver for which she received Westword’s Mastermind award in 2014. She was also an award-winning bridal and lingerie designer. In addition, she created a curriculum for Industrial Sewing Technicians to bring back the art and science of sewing that was implemented by Lamar Community College; co-founded the Denver Design Incubator; served on the advisory committee of the Fashion Association of Denver and several positions for the Denver chapter of Fashion Group International.

WEDDING DRESS: Renaissance style princess seamed with muted patterned silk brocade, silk chiffon front cowl and nearly floor length scarves attached at the back shoulder; pointed sleeves each with an eight (8) button closure and a hidden back zipper with an additional 40 silk brocade covered buttons and loops. Unused, additional dress material AND VAIL included in the sale price.

BRIDAL VAIL: Renaissance style headdress of handmade silk ribbon roses with iridescent flowing chiffon ribbons applied to chiffon covered padded metal headband.
