The Dress

I had been dress shopping many times when I found the gorgeous Maggie Sottero Colette dress. The detail in the lace is very unique and delicate. The dress was also very comfortable and lightweight. I was able to wear the dress for 8 hours comfortably, remember when you’re trying to find that dress that you are going to be in it for at least 8 hours you need to be comfortable. I’ve witness so many of friends being uncomfortable and in pain.

I bought the dress for our wedding in Santorini September 2015 where the temperature was over 30 degrees during the day, and I wasn’t hot in the dress. The dress is a slim line fit around the chest then falling from the hips with lace draping over the satin layer. It has Swarovski crystal beads on the side waist finished with a sweetheart neckline and covered button over zipped closure at the back. The dress is very flattering with a low cut back, I got a hook added to the back so you can pin it up to avoid people walking on the train. The dress colour is Ivory and it’s a size 8, I fit in clothes ranging from 8-12. I have only had it altered at the hemline and bust however I didn’t get built in cups so that if I sold it someone with a larger bust could fit in the dress. You don’t need to wear a bra as the dress holds you in.

I bought the dress from Bells and Beaux in Newcastle for $2700 and I have the original authenticity certificate from purchase.

As much as I don’t want to sell the dress I won’t wear it again and want to sell it so that someone will enjoy the dress as much as I have. It’s been worn once and is in excellent condition no tears or stains.
