Originally planned a wedding for summer of 2016, and found this beautiful, soft and feminine option. Still in bag from the store. It has not been altered or hemmed.Gossamer pleats of raw-edge organza texture the strapless, sweetheart neckline and corseted bodice. The beautiful art-deco belt is attached. The skirt, fitted through the hips and thighs, is covered with more wispy pleats and soft tiers at the flared mermaid hem that’s slit at one side, which only shows up as you walk.
As it turns out, I moved the wedding to November in a vintage NYC location, and went with something that suited the vibe better (and had sleeves!). Otherwise LOVED this dress. Felt like I was floating in it. Photos of me trying it on are the only time it has been worn.
Hidden side zip with hook-and-eye closure.
Fully lined, with padded cups and boning in bodice.
