The Dress
This dress was my dream dress and I hope it can be loved and used once again by someone! I knew Sienne was my dress the second I saw a photo of it online — when you know you just know. The dress is utterly elegant and romantic with beautiful delicate details. I love that it can work in the most formal indoor venues — the train and hand sewn lace are fit for a cathedral, ballroom, or French chateau but the dress is also perfect for gardens, vineyards, even a mountaintop or a backyard wedding — it gives both classic elegance and relaxed cool girl vibes. It’s everything. I might be biased, but I’m convinced it’s the perfect dress. I’m selling it with the matching Alexandra Grecco silk belt which is typically sold separately (as seen in my wedding photos). I’m also selling the matching Sienne veil which is not included in this listing, but I will add for another $1000 - veil is in perfect undamaged condition and is $1300+ new. I’ve heavily discounted the dress due to mild/moderate staining (dirt from the outdoor wedding on a few places at the base of the skirt and underarm staining on one side of the dress - pictured) as well as two tears to the lace near the edge on one out of the eight lace panels on the left side of the dress (not one of the two front lace panel inserts) at the bottom of the panel. For the lace, if you intend to have the dress shortened by a couple of inches, it would remove most if not all of the tearing. Furthermore, as you can see in photos, the lace panels are much longer than the silk panels of the dress and drag on the ground — if you chose to have the bottom of the dress all the same length it would remove the torn portion as well without changing the overall length of the dress. Lastly, the zipper on this dress is stuck above the waistband bump — I’m afraid to try to force it down lest I break the zipper. It may need the zipper replaced or a seamstress to get it unstuck. See video for full inventory of every imperfection (even the tiniest of specks) and the full view of the current condition - it is mostly in very good condition. None of the stains or tears at the base of the skirt, which really are minimal, are visible due to the folds of the dress and all its layers. There are many layers of silk for the skirt - it’s quite a lot of fabric! The train/middle back lace panel, which is really the only one that gets fanned out, is in excellent condition/undamaged (as are 7 out of the 8 lace insert panels). For alterations, I had the waist taken in, the shoulder straps shortened, and the skirt was slightly shortened, so a small amount of the bottom was taken up. Note that height-wise, I’m actually 5’6.75” so, with heels, my height was somewhere between 5’10” and 5’11” (closer to [removed] — and I also kept the hem on the longer side/touching the ground + the extra long lace panels. Lastly, I did have the dress dry cleaned and it is stored in an archival box with a certificate from the cleaners. I’m happy to send through additional current photos of the dress or answer any questions. Selling the dress as is.
