The Dress

What makes your dress unique - I bought the belt separately but it really pulled the whole look together and I can't imagine the dress without it. I will include it with the dress. I cried in the dressing room first with the dress and then even more once the belt was added.

How did you feel in the dress - I felt beautiful. Little girls there called me a princess. It was a magical day. I had one of those "say yes to the dress" moments in the dressing room so I knew this dress was the one.

How did the dress fit - The dress fit me almost perfectly. I had no issues with it staying up or bunching or anything. It has a built in bra so I didn't have to worry about a strapless bra. I'm 5'8 and would have had to add more length if I went with shoes that were too tall. My 2 inch heels plus 5'8 = about 5'10. Of course, it's much easier to remove fabric than to add it.

Be honest about the condition & any flaws - This dress is from a 2014 wedding. Like most wedding dresses I wore it once. It was dry cleaned the next day and then sent to be professionally stored. The dress can be worn without the belt (it has a hook on the inside that is not visible to others on the outside).

Alterations

The hips were let out a little because I indulged a little too much after my 2nd fitting. It's probably closer to a 10/12 label size or 8/10 actual US size.
