The Dress

Loved this dress! Got so many compliments on it and the lace is exquisite. I believe each flower is hand-sewn, and my alterations place did the same when they made alterations. Not pictured but I also wore a simple veil and I thought the two paired very well together.

I purposely did not alter the dress to be too tight on top so I wouldn't look too busty. I think this worked well in most pictures though the dress did loosen over the course of the night, so in retrospect I should have altered it to be slightly tighter. The dress was professionally dry cleaned last month.

The only visible flaws I can see are some minor fraying of the lace flowers at the hem of the dress; if this bothered you and you weren't hemming the dress you could rearrange some of the sewn-on flowers from other parts of the dress and remove the frayed ones.

It looks like the label must have fallen off during dry cleaning but it is still safety-pinned on.

Alterations

Hemmed. Taken in across the bodice as well as through the hips. Added a waist strap and strapless bra snaps (those can be easily removed if desired).
