The Dress

I wore this beautiful Prea James wedding dress for my indoor wedding in Perth in March 2023. It was a dream to wear - very comfortable, modern and flattering. I bought it at the Prea James store in Sydney as a size 12 sample in December 2022 and I believe the style is now out of production. The sample was such good quality that I didn't need to dry clean it before the wedding day (but it has been professionally dry-cleaned since).

I had it altered to fit my size (8-10, probably closer to a 10 and cup size 10C) by Paula & Jo in Perth. The alterations also included adding a side split and under bustle which holds the train beautifully for dancing.

The dress is in great condition, with some very minor marks underneath the train where it touched the floor during the ceremony. These are barely visible after dry cleaning. If you're shorter than me (I'm 164cm and was wearing 83mm heels) this would disappear completely when you hem the dress.

The dress will come in the original Prea James bag & with dry-cleaning receipt. You're welcome to try the dress on (I'm in Osborne Park & work from home) just no fake tan/make up please :) Otherwise I can post it internationally or in Australia-wide.

Also available are the heels size 6 Bared Pewee Satin with plain white & crystal straps included (RRP $279) and happy to throw them in for free.

Based off our best-selling Mira gown, the Margot offers our popular cowl Mira top with spaghetti straps and an A-line skirt, making the gown ideal for brides who do not want their dress to hug too firmly over the hips. This modern and fashion forward silhouette features a slight scoop bodice with a bias cut cowl drape over the bust. The thin spaghetti straps offer a more delicate finish to the gown.

While the Margot gown features a cowl neck design, it also has a waist seam, which gives a more flattering shape for different body sizes. The back is slightly lowered and so quite open, but high enough there is some support. Our stretch satin fabric is not only beautiful but incredibly comfortable to wear, and reflects the light beautifully in all your wedding photos.
