The Dress

“Heartbeat” gown from Reem’s “Love from Above” collection debuted in the April 2022 trunk show. It was hands down my dream dress the moment I tried on the sample at the Atelier in NYC. The dress is both modern yet timeless, with a unique top, luxe lace and the ability to have 2 dresses in one since you have the dramatic detachable skirt.

The scoop neckline is everything! It gives it the fashion moment, but the lace and silhouette keeps it classic. It’s sexy but still really appropriate and timeless. The top has an inner corset to suck you in and give you that hourglass shape. It has the boning which keeps the top really structured and a low back. No bra needed.

The dress is unlined to keep the editorial look of the sample. This means it's JUST lace with nothing underneath. The model in the photo is wearing nude undergarments. I had a nude/skin colored 1-layered chiffon underskirt made with a special seamstress, which I can include for free as a value add. I also can include the veil which is also from Reem Acra and is a simple, white chiffon that is as long as the overskirt. (all of these were additional costs that I can include for free)

The overskirt is removable! You can have the drama for the photos and ceremony and take it off for your reception / after party. The dress itself is mermaid shape and the train can be bustled. I have a video of the alterations specialist at Reem explaining how to put/remove the skirt + do the bustle.

I am 5'4 but in the images I am wearing 5inch heels, so I'm approx. 5'9 here. I am 127 lbs, 34B, typically wear size 2-4 top and size 4 bottom.

I live in NYC and open to having someone try it on! I also travel often and could potentially bring the dress to you, depending where you are located. The dress is so beautiful and special, I would love for another bride to experience their day wearing this piece of art.
