The Dress

This is a beautiful figure hugging crepe mermaid gown with ornately embellished plunging bodice, trimmed with beaded lace applique. The slimline skirt flows into an elegant train finished with matching wide hem lace and a sultry, sheer illusion back.

The Pronovias label size is 8 (bridal sizes run smaller hence the larger size) but I am normally a size 4 or size 6. The dress includes a removable padded bralette.

I am 5'7 (without heels) and ~130 pounds. My measurements are 34" bust, 28" waist and 36.5" hips. I had a little extra room in the dress, but I wanted a looser fit since I wanted this dress to be comfortable to dance and twirl in. This dress moves amazing with the body! I never felt restricted or stiff. The detail of this dress is stunning, from the delicate lace and beading to the tattoo-style sheer back and of course the show-stopping train. All eyes will be on you and you will feel like the most beautiful bride receiving compliments all day long :)

I only wore this wedding dress for 2.5 hours for a portion of the indoors only reception (I don't have many pictures with me in the dress). The dress was worn bustled up the entire night, so the train was not dragged on the floor. The dress overall is in great condition and has no holes, tears or missing beading. It has been professionally dry cleaned immediately after and it's stored in a preservation box (can provide receipts).

You can still find the dress in a lot of bridal shops so if you can, I encourage you to try it on in person at those shops or if you're local, reach out to organize an in person fitting. If you live in San Diego, CA you can pick up the dress in person if you'd like.

Alterations

The only alterations that have been made is the added bustle to support the train (buttons in the back that can be easily removed if you wish) and it has been hemmed in length from the bottom. The dress length works when I wear flat sandals or low heels, so it would we a good length for anyone with shoes who is 5'7 - 5'9. I posted a couple pictures to show how the dress looks bustled, which works great as a reception dress for dancing!
