The Dress
I purchased this Justin Alexander Sincerity sample dress in late November of 2022 from Sandals Bridals in Maryland for my wedding in April of 2023. This is a bridal size 18, street size 14-16.
Since the initial purchase, I lost more weight than anticipated which resulted in the dress no longer fitting as it once did. I had begun the alteration process, but was told that taking in the dress more than 2 sizes would ultimately compromise its integrity and structure. With that being said, the only alterations to the dress include a hemming and a french bustle (shown in photo #3 above).
The dress was not worn outside of the initial bridal consultation in photos 1 & 2, and the final alteration appointment in photo 3 & the video. It has been professionally steamed and remained in the protective bag and plastic in my closet.

Alterations
The alterations include having the dress hemmed to a 4" heel. I am 5'3, and the dress now sits at a height of 5'7 and can further be hemmed if needed.
I also had a french bustle and new button loops added in addition to the hem.
