The Dress

~Casablanca Style 2140 from the Fall 2013 Collection~

- Description from Casablanca: Mermaid silhouette with a strapless sweetheart neckline and illusion back. The gown has assorted beaded appliqués sewn onto a lace overlay. Clusters of 3-dimensional shells and crystal beads are sprinkled throughout the gown and a scalloped trim finishes the hemline. The appliqués at the back zipper are "snapped on" across the zipper to create a seamless piece.

- The dress is beautiful, comfortable and the illusion back is gorgeous; I was able to dance in it the whole night.

- Purchased through Bridal Elegance Salon in Torrance, CA in August 2014 for a July 2015 wedding. The dress is in great condition. No tears/stains and all appliqués are intact.

- Measurements made at the bridal salon to order the dress: Hollow to hem - 57.5", Hollow to top of gown - 5", Gown only 52.5"

- Professionally dry-cleaned and preserved through Memories Gown Preservation Services, still in box. Documentation can be provided upon request.

Alterations

- Professional alterations: It was taken in ~1 inch at the bust to fit 34D, and includes sewn in cups. ~1 inch taken at the waist, no alterations at the hips/thighs, traditional bustle; hemmed for 5'6" with 3.5" heels (so it can be good for someone up to 5'9" in flats)
