Wild Harlow | Rue de Seine

A timeless wrap gown with an edge. Wild Harlow has a semi fitted bodice, with beautiful sleeves that flare into dramatic bells from the elbow. A full skirt and train showcase the floral chevron lace, as it falls and creates different shapes and angles.

Dress comes with the silk strappy slip with a V-Neck to sit comfortably under the dress, covering up but complimenting the outer shell.

Selling second hand, this Boho wedding dress is fun, flitty and flirty, whilst being totally relaxed, and is perfect for any outdoor wedding vibes in a field or forest, on the beach or in a garden.

I wore this dress for my wedding after totally falling in love with it. There aren't many dresses out there quite like it. The Wild Harlow is made of very light French silk lace. The amount of material it's made of, you would think it's heavy but the beautiful lace is very light, despite being extremely intricate and beautiful. There is also so much detail sewn into the lace. The way the light catches the dress on a sunny day is just perfect.

Minor flaws/ wear: there is some very minor pulling of the edge lace detail on the train (see photo). However, this is very minor, would be unnoticeable or easily fixed with a single stitch or two.

Alterations

The dress is a UK size 10 but I had it altered in the arms, and silk slip, in order to fit my body shape (closer to a UK size 12). Alterations were done to a very high specification, consistent with the style of the dress, and are unnoticeable. If you have any further questions regarding the alterations, please get in touch.

Alterations include:
Panels added into the underside of each upper arm, from armpit, provide more room in upper arm (see photo).

Panels placed either side of the inner shell to accommodate my hips (see photo).

A popper was placed at the V of the V-neck of the outer shell, to secure the dress for modesty over the bust.

All alterations are fully reversible, subtle and unnoticeable, blending in to the original style of the dress

The dress would fit anyone either taller or shorter than me; the train and length have not been altered.
