Phillipa Lepley, Baby Olivia

"Baby Olivia" Dress. As with all Philippa Lepley dresses, this dress is made from the most beautiful material and was a dream to wear. It was made in 2010, was dry-cleaned by a specialist company after use and has been beautifully preserved in acid free tissue paper. I've just (Jan 2025) had it dry-cleaned again by Bentley's dry cleaner's in London.

The dress is a pretty classic design - strapless, sweetheart neckline with a lovely full skirt (though not at all meringue-like) and quite a long train (the most fun for dancing in!). There are a couple of very light, champagne stains which I've tried to show in the video, but other than that it is in perfect condition. Video cuts out after 2 mins but I'm happy to send the full version - also feel free to get in touch with any questions. Such a special dress & I would love it to have a second life! (I would have saved it to be worn again but have been blessed with boys rather than girls!)

The sash is to tie around the dress to turn it into an “evening” gown … I actually left this on my Mum’s bed on the Big Day so it was never worn! The dress hooks up at the back for dancing in. It is corseted inside and P Lepley have very kindly just sent me a new corset string as the original one was lost.

Baby Olivia. Exactly as sample. HW silk duchesse satin bodice and 5" waist ruching, with LW silk duchesse satin underskirt, with 2 layers of man made tulle and silk organza top layer (all exactly the same size). Hip is fitted from waist for 4" down. Almond neckline shape as sample. Petticoats 1 x 168 and 1 x extra grand

Mink sash (1014) to be hand tied with bow at side front, on top of original fixed waist ruche for the evening. Just a little larger than PL BOW 02
