The Dress

San Patrick 1964 dress, Amman style. Worn once outside and dry cleaned the day after.

Alterations you can see:
1. Adjusted to my height (5'7" with heels on)
2. Fitted to my waist (30")
3. Button and loop added to make a bustle (it's the last big button on the 4th picture)
4. Belt sewn on to the back where the zipper is (you can see where it's sewn on the 5th picture). It was originally a belt you tie like a ribbon, but it was a hassle to keep re-tying. It looks slightly worn, which is how it was when I bought the dress.

Alterations you can't see:
1. There was a rip in the inner lining of the dress (I bought it at a consignment shop, where the owner said only one other person tried on the dress in the fitting room), which the seamstress fixed. You can't see the rip from the outside since it was on the innermost layer.
2. Bra pads. They're very light, just enough to give a bit of structure.

It's a really nice conservative dress. You can't tell that it's been altered. The dry cleaners did a good job as well. I need to sell this dress because there isn't enough room in a studio to keep it. The dress was originally $3,200 (according to the consignment shop owner), but since I got it for only $1,150, I wanted to pass on the good deal.
