The Dress

Selling my much-loved whimsical wedding dress I wore for my mountain elopement in November last year. Features a heart-shaped neckline, attachable sheer lace long sleeves, open back, flaring skirt with a high front slit and a short train.

I searched high and low for a dress like this and finally found it via Milla Nova (made in Ukraine):

This dress is off-the-shoulder and has floaty sleeves you can either wear on or off via an attachment. It also has a split in the middle to allow for more movement.

Condition: We were lucky to not have any rain or muddy conditions so dress didn't have any damage or noticeable stains/marks. It has also had a $300 professional dry clean by mydressbox.com.au. Please note that the dress bag it came in has some marks on it (it was left in the car whilst dress was being dry cleaned).

I highly recommend a pearl veil to add even more dreamy magic to the look (it was super windy on the mountain so could only wear my pearl veil during my preparations).

Measurements:

I am 170cm (5'7") and wore 8.5cm heels
Bust: 34 inches / 86 cm - there is definitely more room in the bust area if you are bigger than me
Waist: 27 inches / 68 cm
Hips: 36.5 inches / 93cm

Alterations

I paid $300 for the following alterations:

Extra padding in the bust to add shape
I had the hips taken in slightly as dress came a little big/baggy in the hip area
I added a sleeve attachment to secure the sleeves (the original didn't have an attachment and kept falling down) - much better with a secure attachment (note that sleeves can also be taken off - so you could remove them for the reception or later part of the day and just have the dress)
