The Dress

Made for the perfect Spring, coastal wedding! Very flattering with a high neck, crossed / open back & asymmetric hem with a long train. This dress is extremely comfortable and so easy to move in!

I wore this dress for my wedding day in March 2023 at Noosa, and received so many compliments on how individual the style was. The fabric is stunning in person.

The dress was made to a size "closest" to my measurements - with the bust being a size 2, and waist / low hips being a size 3. The dress was then tailored to fit properly - I'm closest to a size 8 waist and bust, and a size 10 hips. Tailor has confirmed there is room to let the dress out through hips / waist as needed (approx 3cm).

It has had a professional bridal dress dry clean ($750).

So obsessed with this dress but won't wear it again. I'd love someone to fall in love with it as much as I did and wear it on their wedding day.

Note to consider: if bought new from a Bridal Atelier like I did then this dress will require significant tailoring (per my and my tailor's experience) as it's made to closest size, not exact measurements. I purchased from The Ivory Room in Sydney.

Alterations

Additional length added to the overskirt at front relative to the original, but then tucked back by the tailor to not fully cover the legs.

Mirrored the dress design so that the left leg is exposed, rather than the right leg per the original, so that the guests see the "long" side when at the end of the aisle for the ceremony.

It has a long train and so I had a bustle / button on the back added (pictured).
