The Dress

This dress is timelessly beautiful. It's a princess Silhouette with a swan neckline and a chapel train. Can be worn year round, mine was a summer wedding and I wasn't short of compliments.

It's very flattering and hides any problem areas (tummy bulge etc) at the same time. :-)

Wore it for 4hrs as I changed into something else for my reception, pretty brand new. Dress has been professionally cleaned and steamed.

As much as I would love to keep this dress, it will just sit in a closet and be forgotten....and it's too beautiful for that. I'm hoping and I know some other lucky bride will look amazing and breathtaking in this dress.

The veil you see in the pictures is a cathedral veil which did not come with the dress. I'm throwing that in for free and hope it blesses and makes someone's day.

Alterations

The cups and bodice were too big for me when it arrived. It came with cap sleeves that looked weird on me because I have broad shoulders. I purchased extra lace fabric from Pronovias to lengthen the sleeves just a little as can be seen in picture. Had it altered at David's Bridal and also had hooks on the inside for bustling so I could hook it up to dance in.

The sleeve alteration is reversible I believe. The seamstress just layered the extra lace from Pronovias to match what was there so if they want the sleeves higher it can be removed.
