The Dress

This dress was a one of a kind, made especially for me by chance, by Jack himself in studio - after I had already purchased what I thought was my dream gown.

It has illusion fabric which means the underlay is a gorgeous thick silk champagne colour, with Italian ivory lace overlay that is intricate and detailed and hand made.

The dress is low-mid back corsetted & the sleeves were extra tulle leftover that my MIL stitched on the day of the wedding and can easily be removed so the dress can be strapless.

It is an AU size 8-10 but due to the back would comfortably fit a size AU 12.

To describe how she made me feel - is hard to put into words. A lot of emotions each time I put this dress on during the build process.

I only wore the dress for approx. 40mins as we eloped and as you can tell from the snapshot of photos - the detail shines through, but is subtle and elegant at the same time. She receives countless comments all these years later and it truly saddens me that she’s simply sitting in storage. Very much deserves to be worn for far longer than 40minutes and given another chance to shine. The illusion style of fabric means it reflect the sunlight at sunset just like magic, and it is figure hugging, incredibly comfortable (no tugging or pulling and no adjusting) and the luxurious perfect length of the train just adds to the magic.

I will include my custom made ivory stained cathedral 2 tier veil also as it’s a must with this gown free of charge.

Alterations

Sleeves are added for off the shoulder look but only via a few stitches. Easily removed without damage to dress
