The Dress
A beautiful Wendy Makin, French Collection dress worn for my summer wedding in 2022 in ivory lace with ivory under-lining. I will be sad to see it go but would love to think of it making someone else as happy as it made me.
I absolutely adored wearing this dress and received so many compliments on its classy and timeless design. The lace pattern is simply stunning.
Due to our wedding taking place on a dry summer's day and subsequent dry cleaning, the dress is in excellent condition.
I am tall at 5ft 9inches and wore 2.5 inch heels, therefore there is plenty of length to the lace that could be cut and tailored to fit.
The dress has sewn in cups to the fitted bodice and includes a bustle at the back so that the train can be tucked under, which came in useful for our first dance. The skirt flows out beautifully when turning on the dance floor.
The dress fastens with a zip at the back.
