I purchased this stunning dress from a leading bridal boutique in Bristol from the 2022 ‘Le Papillon Ocean Collection’ by Modeca. The collection is designed and made in the Netherlands.

Worn once on my wedding day. Professionally dry cleaned, straight after the wedding, at David Barnes Cardiff. It is in fantastic condition no stains.

Ordered from the designer as a size 10 and made to my height for the perfect length with heels. Mannequin in photo is set to 5' 10" / 178cm height, which was my height with heels. This dress has a beautiful chapel length train with a button to hold the bustle. There is a ribbon for a hand tie if needed.

This amazing dress features white/Ivory lace and tulle with a pale ‘cafe au lait’ underskirt, which absolutely caught my attention! It makes the lace stand out beautifully as you can see in the photos. The designer describes the colour of this dress as ‘ivory/nude’. The lace tulle is nearer white and the flowers feel gentle to the touch, like soft cotton embroidery. The underskirt colour is nearer 'cafe au lait’. The colours were perfect for my autumn wedding.

The sheer bodice is covered with beautiful lace that flows down into a tulle lace skirt. Self coloured sequins sparkle on the floral appliqués. The dress is not overly sparkly, just a touch to catch the light. The bodice has boning to hold you in at all the right places, with built in bra cups for added support. The back fastens with a zip and then looped buttons to finish. This sophisticated design also showcases beaded thin straps and is finished with a shaped chapel length train.

The underskirt material allows for a tiny bit stretch. I danced all night in this dress and it was very comfortable right to the end. It is an amazing dress, I had no end of compliments and would certainly recommend it if you are looking for that little extra wow magic for your big day.

I wore a chapel length veil that was altered to match the length of the dress train. It was worn for the wedding ceremony and then removed for the reception. It is in excellent condition. I am happy to sell this if you are interested. Please contact to find out more.
