The Dress

Selling a stunning Spring 2016 Naeem Khan "Sorrento" wedding dress, purchased in March 2016 for my big day in October of the same year. It was worn once and immediately dry cleaned and stored. I added light cups to the bodice for a more flattering line.

The unique Gatsby-inspired design, stunning beading details and versatility of this dress make it perfect for the big day. The whimsical tulle skirt is separate from the top portion of the dress. I removed the tulle portion altogether for the late-night/dancing portion of our wedding, getting a "two for one" look from the same designer garment.

This dress moves beautifully, from the layers of tulle to the fringe of the beading that lies where top of dress meets skirt. My bridesmaids lovingly perfected how the fringe fell on the tulle for a memorable "getting ready" moment. The deep V neckline (both front and back of dress) shows off your clavicle and back while creating a classy, unexpected yet timeless silhouette.

Alterations

Adjusted the length of the tulle skirt to shorten the train and be a nearly-uniform length around the full circumference, making it easier to maneuver in for the big day. The adjustment kept a small amount of train (see detail photo for reference).
